 Software :

  • The software is using the operative system Windows XP professional , Windows 7or Windows 8;
  • The software ( version 10.25 or superior releases ) developed directly by AD Engineering  and dedicated to the helmets tests , has the following main functions ( demo are available );
  • Immediate calculation of resultant in g ( deceleration ) or Newton ( force );
  • Immediate calculation of the HIC or GSI;
  • Immediate calculation of speed in m/sec , impact energy , friction ,acceleration average , duration of the graph at selected g. levels and other data;
  • Force and deceleration scale selectable by the user;
  • All data are displayed on monitor in different colours;
  • Gain selection and transducer sensitivity selection via software;
  • Automatic recording of the data ( stored on the HD ) after each shock;
  • Data transmission to Excel spreadsheet for data base creation ( Excel program not supplied );
  • Graph analysis with speed , space and other data;
  • Encoder distance steps ( for correct drop height setting ) selection via software;
  • Time for helmet recovering and releasing to be set via software;
  • Possibility of simultaneously displaying on the screen, in 5 different colours , the three components of the acceleration , result of the acceleration and speed;
  • Zoom facilities  and long recording of the event available ( up to 75 milliseconds );
  • Possibility of really complete description of the sample under test . Short notes can be added in order to have the complete identification of the tested helmet or sample;
  • All messages can be customized by the operator;
  • Four main languages to be selected ( English , French , German and Italian );
  • Other languages  easy to be installed (original Windows version is necessary );
  • Possibility of setting and modifying 4 different drop height , to be  reached by means of four function keys;
  • Absolute height displayed in real time on the screen;
  • Filter according to the std. ISO 6487  Class 1000 is already built in;
